Here are the daily activities for December at Airfield Estate

  • 10 am – Egg collection at hen houses
  • 10:30 am – Jersey Herd Milking & Tasting in the farmyard
  • All Day – Self Guided Winter Trail, pick up a trail from the ticket desk!

Our Young Chef cookery classes for 8-12 year olds will run throughout the year with seasonal menus and take-home recipes. Children will explore our food gardens and harvest their own ingredients for the different dishes they produce.

Forest School Paint MakingOur new forest school class will be taking place each month and our lucky forest schoolers will be learning through activities such as shelter building, learning knots to make cool things with ropes, using tools to make wooden crafts, foraging, flora and fauna identification, forest art and games plus much more! Read More

X Mas Dining Event Square‘Seasons Eatings’ will be a five-part tasting menu served conversational style, with each course showcasing the incredible bounty of the Estate’s farm, gardens and lands produce – local, seasonal, sustainable food harvested in the main on-site.

This unique farm to fork, festive lunch is available in Overends Kitchen on our 38-acre urban food and farm in Dundrum, Dublin.

2 courses start at €28 per person, €33 for 3 courses or 4 courses for €36.  Lunch includes a homemade spiced winter warm drink on arrival. Learn More

Enjoy a fast pace walk around Airfield Estate with Grainne Kelliher to get your week off to a positive start. This is a free activity, and the more the merrier!

 

When: Monday mornings at 9.30am (excluding Bank Holidays)

Meeting point: Meet at the ticket kiosk

Details:

  • On arrival please sign in at the ticket kiosk.
  • You will be greeted by an Airfield staff member and they will guide you on a brisk walk of the estate.
  • They will guide you from the sign in point around the estate and back to the exit point.
  • Please note airfield activates does not run on Bank Holidays.
