  • 10 am – Egg collection at hen houses
  • 10:30 am – Jersey Herd Milking & Tasting in the farmyard
  • 11:00 am – Farmyard Feeding
  • 11:30 am & 2.30 pm – House Tours (Wednesday – Sunday)
  • 3.30 pm – Animal Feeding

Our Young Chef cookery classes for 8-12 year olds will run throughout the year with seasonal menus and take-home recipes. Children will explore our food gardens and harvest their own ingredients for the different dishes they produce.

Forest School Paint MakingOur new forest school class will be taking place each month and our lucky forest schoolers will be learning through activities such as shelter building, learning knots to make cool things with ropes, using tools to make wooden crafts, foraging, flora and fauna identification, forest art and games plus much more! Read More

airfield activatesEveryone is welcome for our weekly 3K walk – Walks take place at 9.30am on Monday mornings.
Enjoy a fast pace walk around Airfield Estate with Grainne Kelliher to get your week off to a positive start. This is a free activity, and the more the merrier!


When: Monday mornings at 9.30am (excluding Bank Holidays)

Meeting point: Meet at the ticket kiosk


  • On arrival please sign in at the ticket kiosk.
  • You will be greeted by an Airfield staff member and they will guide you on a brisk walk of the estate.
  • They will guide you from the sign in point around the estate and back to the exit point.
  • Please note airfield activates does not run on Bank Holidays.

Airfield Estate Orchard & annual meadowThe winter months are the ideal time to plant and prune many fruit trees. So if you are keen to start growing your own fruit trees or have existing trees that are in need of some TLC then why not join our Head Gardener Colm O’Driscoll on this fruit workshop on Saturday 9th February.
