We have a number of rooms available for hire for occasional bookings and on going courses. In the Courtyard we have two fully equipped art studios with the capacity for between 12 and 16 students, a print studio which provides artists/printmakers a facility to develop their work in a professional manner and a large photographic darkroom which can accommodate 8 students/photographers.

Ample free car parking takes the stress out of your day at Airfield.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT AIRFIELD

We cater for birthday parties for age groups for 5 to 10 year olds and groups from 10 to 25 

Option 1

MEET THE ANIMALS   2pm – 3pm
Our guide will take you on a tour to meet the animals on Airfield’s working farm. You will meet our lovely miniature ponies Hammer, Dixie and Kelly, Darcy and Jennie. Smokey Joe and Michael our resident donkeys—and our personality pigs: Prudence, Betsey and Doris, and the little pet, Glen the pot bellied pig. There are also sheep, cows, geese, ducks goats and chickens. Depending on the time of your visit you might see our new born lambs, calves and chicks. So come prepared with a coat and wellies. (1 hour approx)
TIME FOR FOOD    3pm – 4pm
Having spent an hour on the farm it’s now time to head to the Mongolian Yurt (The Birthday Tent) for the birthday party picnic of cocktail sausages, pizza slices, cup cake and juice.   
Charge: €15.50 per child 

OPTION 2 
You can rent the Mongolian Tent for the day –bring your own food and host your own party. There are indoor and outdoor games for the children to play with and you can book our guide for Meet the Animals. 

Hire: €120
morning (10am to 1pm)
or afternoon (2pm to 5 pm)
Guide: €50

Please note:

Minimum group 10 children or fixed charge applies €155
Two parents/adults must be present at all times for groups up to 10 children
Three Guardians/adults must be present at all times for groups up to 16 children
Four Guardians/adults must be present at all times for groups up to 24 children
An extra pair of hands (parent, partner, friend) is invaluable to help supervise the children, mind the presents, meet the parents and help at the party table.

Don’t forget to bring a sack for the pressies!

Booking:

To secure a specified date we need your credit card details.  No charges will be put through.  However, in the event of “No Show” or cancellation on the day a €62 penalty is incurred. Cancellations must be notified 4 days before event. Payment is made on the day.
