Christmas and December Events
Irish-born, London based, award-winning chef Robin Gill returns to Dublin for a second collaboration with Airfield Estate’s, Luke Matthews. This time the dynamic duo will be leading their guests into the wild with an invitation to take part in a unique dining event, taking place on Friday December 1st and Saturday December 2nd at Airfield Estate.
Following on from the Wild themed dinner on the 1st and 2nd December, Chef Robin Gill will host a Game Masterclass on Sunday December 3rd. This will be an inspirational master class in preparing Christmas dinner. Perfect for budding chefs and home-cooks who’ve had enough of the turkey and ham ritual!
Date: 3rd December
Along with receiving a present and a story from the main man himself in the beautiful setting of Airfield House, you’ll enjoy face painting and letter writing with Santa’s Elves, decorate a delicious treat in the Elves’ Kitchen, warm up with a hot chocolate or mulled wine (for the adults), get crafty and make a festive decoration, take a family souvenir picture on SSanta’s sleigh and finish it off with a magical trip on the North pole Express.
From 7pm – 9pm each Monday, you’ll learn how to make thoughtful homemade Christmas presents, wrapping accessories, bunting, festive floral arrangements, decorations that will last for years and delicious baked treats.
December is a time for get together with family and friends to reminisce on the year gone by and share delicious, wholesome food together.
With all the hustle and bustle in the city, it’s not easy to find a place to gather, share and relax for the evening and lose track of time.
This year we’ve created something a little less rushed and more about the sense of occasion.
