Easter at Airfield

Easter at AirfieldJoin us this Easter at Airfield from 8th -23rd April. We have Easter camps, young chef and farmer workshops, a special Easter trail on the woodland walk and a visit from our friends at the Donkey Sanctuary!


Woolapalooza Sheep & Farm Festival

Kick up your heels as the return of our annual Woolapalooza Farm Festival returns on 30th April & 1st May.  A fun packed schedule of farm activities will be rolled out and will be sure to make you go barn-y for all things farm-y!


Airfield Activates

Airfield activates started in 2016, joining the initiative to help the Irish Nation loose a million pound by the end of 2016!

We are continuing the project into 2017, so join us on our free guided 3K walk of the estate.

Airfield Estates Easter Camps are packed with exciting adventures for 5-8 year olds! Each camp will be hands-on with the campers growing, eating, exploring and investigating Airfields fields, farm and gardens.

Workshops for Children

Young Farmers Series


Our Young Farmers Series is a range of farming workshops for children ages 8-12 years and runs from 10am-12pm.

Each session will vary and focus on a different animal, perfect for animal lovers and outdoor explorers.


Young Chef Series

image for young chefsChildren aged 8-12 yrs will see the process of food from farm to fork and get hands on, learning kitchen safety with correct utensil care. They will soon getting creative in the kitchen preparing delicious healthy meals that they can recreate at home.

Airfield Estate FOOD Series


The first edition of the AIRFIELD ESTATE FOOD Series takes place on Thursday, 27 April. Structured around an afternoon of content exchange followed by a social supper, the series aims to generate debate, discussion and dialogue on all aspects of FOOD in our lives today.


Native Seed Conversation Workshop

NBDC logoLearn about native seed conservation that’s taking place in Ireland today. Take home knowledge and practical skills for successful seed saving at home. This workshop is been hosted at Airfield Estate, please note all bookings and workshop information can be found via National Biodiversity Ireland.

Mindfulness and Yoga


Sinead O’Connor from Hush Yoga will guide you through the yoga and mindfulness workshop to access and develop the natural skills of your mind. During this workshop participants will deepen and refine their understanding of the relationship of mind and body for health, healing, and well-being and practice some of their newly learned skills.
