What’s on at Airfield

At Airfield Estate we strive to provide an educational and inspirational environment where you can learn something from either some of our information boards throughout the Estate, by speaking with one of our staff members or coming to one of our many events taking place.

We have a variety of events taking place this year and we hope to see you at Airfield Estate to experience what we are about.

Collecting Eggs at Airfield Estate

Each day you are invited to join us for our farm activities:

  • 10am Egg collection at hen houses
  • 10.30am Jersey Heard Milking in the farmyard
  • 11am Calf feeding in the farmyard

Our summer camps are back and are packed with exciting adventures! This Summer we have five camps for you to choose from, all of which will be hands-on and action-packed, with campers exploring, building, experimenting and investigating Airfield Estate’s fields, farm and gardens. Our education team will guide campers through a very active and exciting week of getting their hands dirty and their boots muddy. Read More

Airfield activates is back again for 2018!

Everyone is welcome for our weekly 3K walk – Walks take place at 9.30am on Monday mornings.
Enjoy a fast pace walk around Airfield Estate with Grainne Kelliher to get your week of to a positive start. This is a free activity, and the more the merrier!

When: Monday mornings at 9.30am (excluding Bank Holidays)

Meeting point: Meet at the ticket kiosk.

Details:

  • On arrival please sign in at the ticket kiosk.
  • You will be greeted by an Airfield staff member and they will guide you on a brisk walk of the estate.
  • They will guide you from the sign in point around the estate and back to the exit point.
  • Please note airfield activates does not run on Bank Holidays.
