An Evening of Cheese Tasting


    Avril Molloy, is the founder of the Irish School of Cheese and a farmhouse cheese expert. She provides cheese courses, training and education programmes, masterclasses and cheese tasting experiences for speciality food businesses, food tourists and cheese enthusiasts. Previously, Avril was Retail Manager at Sheridan's Cheesemongers, responsible for nine speciality food and cheese outlets in Ireland.

    She is particularly enthusiastic about Irish farmhouse cheese but loves to share her knowledge of cheeses from all over Europe. Her mission is to enhance people’s enjoyment of this beautiful food by sharing the story of its origins, the makers, the craft behind it and, most importantly, through tasting delicious cheeses.

    Join Avril in the Inspiration Kitchen at Airfield Estate for an intimate tasting evening of Irish Artisan and Farmhouse Cheeses where she'll go through the classification and story for each cheese along with some tasting notes.

    There will be 5 different cheeses along with a selection of accompaniments and homemade fermented drinks which you will be able to enjoy as Avril delivers the course.
