Basics Workshop – November Vegetarian Edition


    Welcome to our plant-positive Basics Workshop! Elevate your vegetarian cookery or up your plant-powered game with this 4-evening course. Over the course of four weeks in November, we'll empower you with the confidence to cook from scratch and create delicious veggie dishes. Be part of our sustainable food hub as we use our own produce and celebrate seasonality in every lesson.

    Week 1: Knife Skills & Soups

    Sharpen your knife skills and create nourishing dishes with vegetables. Celebrate the season by creating the perfect vegetable chilli and a warming vegetable soup.

    Week 2: Grains & Veggie Delights Step into the world of grains and explore their potential in vegetarian cuisine. Discover the versatility of quinoa, bulgur, barley, and freekeh. Savor barley mushroom risotto and relish a variety of grain salads. Week 3: "Eggs & Dairy Goodness" Unleash the potential of eggs and dairy in vegetarian dishes. Delve into the art of making a perfect omelette and indulge in a loaded vegetable frittata, perfect for brunch. Fall in love with an autumnal roast halloumi salad. Week 4: Plant-Based Protein Power Discover the richness of plant-based proteins in your cooking. Conquer the art of soaking and cooking dried and canned pulses and legumes. Savor hearty Tuscan Borlotti bean soup and indulge in a comforting red lentil daal. Dates: Tuesdays (7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th) in November Times: 6:30 pm - 9 pm

    Price: €300 / €270 for annual pass holders for the full four weeks OR €80/€72 for annual pass holders for tickets for individual weeks
