Family Bat Walks at Airfield Estate for Ages 8+

We are delighted to bring back the popular nighttime Bat Walk Series!

Join us on the 2nd of May, 31st of May, 12th of July, 2nd of August, 20th of September and 1st of November, we’ll uncover the secrets of the night as you join us for a captivating Bat Walk. Designed for families with children aged 8 and above, this event promises an evening of wonder and exploration perfect for families and nature enthusiasts!

What’s in store:

• The bat guide will meet you upon arrival & discuss the night ahead.
• Nighttime Exploration: Cloaked in weather-appropriate gear, venture into the world of bats under the sparkling night sky. Witness their graceful flight and learn about their nocturnal habits.
• Bat Detector Experience: Immerse yourself in a hands-on encounter with a bat
  detector. Gain insights into their unique sonar navigation, a skill crucial for their nighttime quests.
• We will finish up with an arts and crafts session where we will be making our own magnificent bat creations.
