GROW

What is GROW?

Growth, Respect, Opportunity and Wellbeing (GROW) at Airfield Estate supports young adults in disability services to develop their employability skills and reach their employment ambitions.

How does GROW work?

Each participant is encouraged and supported to explore the world of work through a series of work experience placements. Airfield Estate facilitates work training and experiences for GROW participants in hospitality, tourism, horticulture and farming. During this onsite work experience, each participant is supported in their personal development by a dedicated GROW Programme Skills Trainer and coordinator.

The aim of GROW?

GROW aims to find a suitable workplace with each participant where they can find meaningful and viable part-time permanent employment.

  • Empower participants to develop employability skills and reach their employment ambitions.
  • Provide hands-on work experience in various industries to explore career interests.
  • Facilitate personal development and growth through dedicated support from program coordinators and skills trainers.
  • Assist participants in finding suitable workplaces for part-time permanent employment post-program.
