Airfield Estate has been part of Dundrum’s history for over 100-years and the town has grown around us, so we’re two minutes’ drive from Dundrum Town Centre and 15-minutes from Dublin city centre.

How to get to Airfield

By Luas
Take the LUAS to the Balally stop. Turn right when you exit the station, walk up the hill and you can’t miss us.

By Bike
There's bike parking at Airfield for you to park up before you enjoy your visit to the Estate or Overends Kitchen.

By Bus
The following Dublin Bus routes will bring you to Dundrum village and drop you within a few minutes walk of Airfield Estate.

11,14, 14C, 44, 44B, 75, 116 and 175

By Car or Coach
Take the M50 to Junction 13, follow the R826 for 2 kilometres to Overend Way and we’re just there on your right.

When is Airfield Estate open?

Airfield Estate is currently open Wednesday - Sunday from 10 am - 5 pm with last admission at 4 pm. Best to get here one hour before closing so you have a chance to look around.

How much are tickets to visit Airfield Estate?

Admission tickets vary from free for 3 and under to €12 for adults. Carers go free. Family tickets available.

Do you need to book in advance?

Yes, pre booked tickets are required to visit Airfield Estate.

How long does it take to visit Airfield Estate?

We recommend allowing at least an hour to explore! Most people spend 2-3 hours here at a time.

Is there an ATM?

We don't have an ATM at Airfield Estate. There is one located in the local newsagent at the Balally Luas stop.

Do you have a café?

The Stables café is inside the admission area and serves hot drinks and snacks. The Horse Box Coffee Kiosk is now open, serving coffee to go outside the Estate.

Is there a concession for carers?

Carers go free at Airfield Estate.

Do you do a student rate?

Yes, we have a youth and student rate for people aged 18-25. Please bring your id. to avail of this.

Who is eligible for a child ticket?

This ticket is for children aged 4 - 17, all children 3 and under are free.

Are dogs allowed?

As we are a working farm the only dogs permitted are guide dogs or assistance dogs.

Are bicycles allowed?

We want you to enjoy the Estate in your own time, so please leave any wheeled toys and balls at the gate and collect them when you leave.

Can you pet or feed the animals?

We're a working farm so we ask that you don't pet or feed our animals.

Do Annual Pass holders need a ticket?

Your annual pass is your ticket, so we look forward to seeing you in the near future.
