Pay-To-Plant at Airfield Estate

Our Pay-to-Plant initiative allows people to make a donation and have their own tree, shrub, flower or food crop planted here on the grounds of Airfield Estate. This will support our work as an educational charity and Dublin’s sustainable food hub while preserving this precious green space.

You can donate, sponsor, plant and gift some greenery that will live on the estate for years to come! This simple gesture can have a big impact.

Why should I get involved?

• Get your hands dirty! You or another can come to Airfield Estate and plant your own shrub or tree.

• Play your part in supporting the protection of a vital green space in the urban environs of South County Dublin. This planting will support biodiversity across the estate.

• You will contribute to environmental conservation and food security by actively participating in tree planting.

• We will care for what you plant for years to come.

• You will receive updates about Airfield Estate’s progress to farm and garden sustainably.

How it works:

Pay-to-Plant Tiers

1. For €25, you can join members of our garden team to plant native fauna that will help our hedgerows across Airfield Estate thrive well into the future.

2. For €50, you can join members of our garden team to plant a key piece of the Edible Forest being planted to surround our Community Garden.

3. For €250, you can join our Head Gardener to add your own legacy to Airfield Estate in the form of planting a new tree in our orchard. Opportunities for this are limited.

Once you make your purchase, you'll receive your confirmation e-mail. In January, a member of our team will reach out with dates that you can come to plant your piece of Airfield's living legacy!
