Open Tuesday to Sunday and bank holidays. Closed on Mondays.

October – February: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
March-May: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
June: 9:30 am – 6:30 pm
July & August: 9:30 am – 7:30 pm
September: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
Last entry 1 hour before closing.
Airfield House may be closed from noon on wedding days or for private functions.

When is Airfield Estate open?
Airfield Estate is currently open Wednesday – Sunday and bank holiday Monday & Tuesdays from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm with the last admission 1 hour before closing.
How much are tickets to visit Airfield Estate?
Admission tickets vary from free for 3 and under to €12 for adults. Carers go free.
Do you need to book in advance?
It’s recommended to pre book a visit Airfield Estate but you can also purchase a ticket on arrival. Annual pass holders can use their card as a ticket and don’t need to pre-book
How long does it take to visit Airfield Estate?
We recommend allowing at least an hour to explore! Most people spend 2-3 hours here at a time.
Is there an ATM?
We don’t have an ATM at Airfield Estate. There is one located in the local newsagent at the Balally Luas stop.
Do you have a café?
The Stables café open Friday – Sunday and is inside the admission area and serving hot drinks and snacks. Overends Kitchen is open 7 days from 9 am – 4:30 pm
Is there a concession for carers?
Carers go free at Airfield Estate.
Do you do a student rate?
Yes, we have a student rate of €9. Please bring your id. to avail of this.
Who is eligible for a child ticket?
This ticket is for children aged 4 – 17, all children 3 and under are free.
Are dogs allowed?
As we are a working farm the only dogs permitted are guide dogs or assistance dogs.
Are bicycles allowed?
We want you to enjoy the Estate in your own time, so please leave any wheeled toys and balls at home. Bicycles can be parked in the bike park at the owners’ risk.
Can you pet or feed the animals?
We’re a working farm so we ask that you don’t pet or feed our animals.
Do Annual Pass holders need a ticket?

What should I wear when visiting Airfield Estate?
We recommend dressing for the weather conditions on the day of your visit. Layers are often a good idea, especially in Ireland’s variable climate. During wet weather, waterproof jackets and sturdy footwear are advisable. We do our best to maintain walkways, some areas may become muddy, particularly after rainfall. We advise wearing footwear you don’t mind getting dirty, such as sturdy walking shoes or boots.
