Blue tubs of roses are two a penny in households, offices and waiting rooms country wide as the festive season rolls in. Simultaneously a Christmas rose of a different kind is starting to emerge in the gardens here in Airfield. Hellebores also known as Lenten or Christmas roses are a herbaceous perennial that begin to bloom over the Christmas period. Similar to its blue tub name sake the Christmas roses come in a diverse selection of colours so there should be a flower colour to satisfy everyone in the audience.

A Stellar Autumn Winter Line-Up as New Supper Club launches at Overends Kitchen in Airfield Estate.
Each Supper Club evening will see the chefs showcase their menu in collaboration with the team from Overends Kitchen and Airfield Estate where much of the produce on each evening will be sourced.

I have been lucky enough to work as a Vocational Trainer with the WALK REAL Ability programme at Airfield Estate for just over a year now. Before that, I had worked in a few departments in Airfield, from the café to the front desk to the education team. Working on different projects helped me to build skills and identify my own career goals. Through Airfield’s partnership with WALK, I now get to guide young adults through their own career journeys.
